Construction Line Save ( Modeling )

Tool summary :

• Stores the construction lines and circles that you select in a file that you name.
• You can later Load ... that file in any view in your current Job or in any Job to generate copies of those same construction lines and/or circles.
• Best results are usually achieved if you Load ... the file in a view that is similar to the one that the construction grid was saved from.
• To invoke Construction Line Save ...
  
  
  • Method 1 : Click the Save Construciton Lines & Circles icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Model -- Construction Lines ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
  • Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Model > Save .
  • Method 3, 4 or 5 : Save Construction Lines & Circles can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .

   Step-by-step instructions :

In-tool selection versus preselection: The following instructions show the in-tool selection of construction lines (using Select Item(s) mode). Instead of doing it this way, you could preselect construction lines and construction circles in Select Items mode, then invoke Save Construction Lines & Circles -- but that would require the use of selection filters other than the ' Default ' selection filter.

	1 . Invoke Save Construction Lines & Circles .
	2 . Select the construction lines and construction circles that you want. For example, draw an area box from right to left. Press Enter (or right-click and choose " OK ") to signal that you are done selecting.
	3 . Give the file a name and save it in any folder ( ) in your current version of this program.
